Our mission at Signarama Manville is to continuously be the most comprehensive source for all your sign, branding and advertising needs. We have been providing the local community with our quality products and exceptional customer service for 14 years in Somerset County. We aim to be your premier provider of sign and advertising products; helping our customers grow their businesses and get their messages across. And through our United Franchise Group Foundation membership we pledge to be a giving, honest and caring company.

Hassle-free service and total satisfaction is our goal. Signarama Manville offers a full range of products from vinyl banners to digital signs and vehicle wraps, as well as consultative services on marketing, branding and messaging. In doing so, we aim to create customized solutions that are unique to each customer we service.

Larry Freedman

Owner

Lawrence Freedman was born in North Bay, Ontario.  He graduated with honors from Ryerson University with a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in marketing.  Upon graduation, Mr. Freedman was recruited by the Toronto-Dominion Bank for their executive management program and attended courses at the University of Toronto, graduating with a degree with the Fellowship of Canadian Bankers.

After three years, Mr. Freedman left banking and pursued a marketing career.  He worked for Kimberly-Clark of Canada, ValPak of Canada, and Myron Manufacturing, the last of which later promoted and transferred him to New Jersey.

Mr. Freedman has extensive knowledge of direct marketing and has consulted and worked for several small and medium size companies since moving to the United States.  For the past 10 years, he Freedman has owned 18th Story Media, Inc. which is a successful online publishing business.

Throughout his life he has been continually placed in leadership positions:  scholastic honors and awards (Harvard Business Game), a leader in Boy Scouts, member of three company boards, synagogue board member, a philanthropic organization leader and sponsor/captain of an adult hockey team. From February 2008 to May 2010, Mr. Freedman served as Director of Vesta Capital Corp., a TSVX traded company.  He has also been a key presenter at various Direct Marketing Association and AdTech conferences.

Mr. Freedman currently resides in New Jersey with wife Margot and two children.

 

 

 

Margot Freedman

Co Owner/ Client Account Specialist

A native of Canada, Margot Freedman was born and raised in the bustling city of Toronto, Ontario.  There she attended and graduated from York University with a degree in Psychology.  Shortly after marrying Larry, they made the big move to the United States and ventured into the signage business in May of 2015.  When asked to describe her role at Signarama, she puts it this way “…besides that of co-owner, I am the Client Account Specialist, bookkeeper, cleaning lady, grocery shopper, and substitute mom.  This is very unprofessional, so you probably shouldn't use it.”

Aside from Signarama, Margot has worked in a variety of industries ranging from construction to retail, non-profits and for-profits.  She has done everything from administration and bookkeeping, to estimating and purchasing - virtually anything needed to run a business.

Margot is the glue that holds this company together. When she isn’t answering phones and manning the storefront, she enjoys spending time with her two children and visiting family back at home in Toronto.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pete Chetwynd

Designer/ Production Manager

Born and raised in Bradley Gardens, Pete has spent much of his life in Central New Jersey and knows quite a lot about our customers.  He graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. 

Having been with Signarama since 2011, much of his expertise has come through years of hands-on experience and self-taught knowledge. Pete is not only our Production Manager but wears many hats within the company. His favorite projects to install are car window graphics!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jay Skorupa

Creative Designer

Having joined the Signarama Manville team in November of 2015, Jason Skorupa acts as the creative mind behind all of our major designs and artwork. He has been working in the sign industry for over twenty years, primarily in a handful of other vehicle wrap and fabrication shops before coming to Signarama.  Jason also does his own freelance graphic design work when he is not in the office.

Jason’s vast knowledge of signage is self-taught, stemming from his many years in the industry.  He has done everything from graphic design fabrications and image management, to logo development and corporate identity and branding.  Additionally, Jason has helped teach training classes and vehicle wrap demonstrations for Avery Dennison Corporation and Mutoh Industries. In 2013 he competed in Avery Dennison’s annual “Wrap Like A King” Challenge, with his truck Chrome n’ Lime. He took home third place and a recognition award for Fan Favorite. This guy is a force to be reckoned with in the sign industry to say the least.

Jason’s favorite thing to do is logo development. He has a true passion for taking someone’s idea and bringing it to life. To him, there is something satisfying about taking part in how the public views a business and making their graphics work for them.

 

 

 

 

 

Audra Hofacker

Social Media Intern/ Marketing

Audra is the newest addition to the Signarama team. She graduated cum laude from Montclair State University with a BFA in Dance and minor in Business Administration. Previously, Audra has served as a Social Media Assistant at the MeiGray Group in Branchburg, NJ and Marketing and Educational Outreach Intern at DAMAGEDANCE in Manhattan, NY.

Aside from marketing, Audra is a NJ Board of Ed licensed substitute teacher and teaches dance at several NJ dance studios. Her previous experience also includes retail, sales, telemarketing, and office administration. Having worked within a variety of mediums at a variety of locations, Audra's favorite thing about Signarama is that "it is a very unique business where there are new projects being made and new challenges to be faced every single day."
