Charities We Support
At the World Expo in San Antonio in 2006, Ray Titus announced the creation of United Franchise Group Foundation.
Ray had been planning this program, which began with Charities of Choice, for two years. The foundation’s goals are to help children educationally, medically and to improve their opportunities for a better life. To this end, any number of great organizations could have been chosen. Therefore, we have chosen carefully the following:
-
Shriners Hospitals for Children
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 pediatric hospitals in the U.S., Canada and Mexico that provide specialised care for orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate. All services are provided at no charge.
-
Africa Bridge
Africa Bridge is a non-profit organisation that was established in 2000 by its current president, Barry Childs. The Africa Bridge mission is to engage leaders in serving orphans and vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa that have been affected by HIV or AIDS. UFG Foundation donations went to building two classrooms. With this generous contribution the government increased the donation to enable another classroom to be built.
-
Junior Achievement
JA Worldwide (Junior Achievement) is the world’s largest organisation dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and free enterprise. Through 495 offices around the world, JA reaches approximately seven million students per year in inner cities, suburbs and rural areas.
